Run! Jump! Slide! Tilt!
Temple Run 2, which we first told youarrived in the New Zealand App Store yesterday, has officially launched in the U.S. The sequel, like its predecessor, is free-to-play. The original Temple Run is one of the more popular games in iOS, generating over 170 million downloads.
Temple Run 2 promises “beautiful new graphics, gorgeous new organic environments, new obstacles, more powerups, more achievements, and a bigger monkey.” But it also retains much of the same gameplay feel that made the original so popular.
And good news, Android users – your game is coming pretty soon. Temple Run devs Imangi Studios’ co-founder Keith Shepherd told Polygon that the Android version of Temple Run 2 is “almost done” and should launch some time next week in Google Play. He did caution that it’s not set in stone, and that the scheduled launch is still tentative.
